The purpose of a quality check is to ensure that strict quality standards are followed at every stage of construction with the least amount of waste possible.

PUBLIC EXECUTION

Marking

1. The PERMANENT BENCHMARKS AND REFERENCE BASE LINES check must be recognised.
2. Are the MAIN GRID LINES being established in both directions according to the drawings?
3. Are the SUB-BASE LINES AND BENCHMARKS being established in accordance with the designs in both directions?
4. Are the BM, CL, and GRID LINE MARKINGS verified to ensure they meet specifications?
5. Are all of the SEPARATE STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS in accordance with the structural drawings?
6. Is the SURVEY PILLAR'S PROTECTION up to par?
7. Check to see if the BLOCK LEVELS establishment is appropriate.
8. Examine the vertical control of the SURVEY WORK.
9. Check to see if the EGL Map is prepared.

Excavation

1. Is the EXCAVATED region completely free of obstacles?
2. Check to see if the excavation's layout, alignment, and size match the plan.
3. Is there a sufficient amount of WRITING SPACE offered everywhere?
4. Is it OK to lay PPC on the FOUNDING STRATA?
5. Does the FOUNDING STRATA have no soft pockets at all? Remove and replace with lean concrete or sand if not.
6. Verify the excavation's DRESSING to see if it is satisfactory.
7. Verify the side slopes' STABILITY - is it acceptable?
8. Has the wet area been DEWATERED?
9. Verify that the excavated earth was disposed of in the intended location.
10. For deep excavations, have BARRICADING & CAUTION SIGNS been provided?
11. Verify the completion of the JOINT INSPECTION.

Backfilling

1. Verify that only QUALITY SOIL WITH APPROVED QUALITY IS USED FOR BACKFILLING.
2. Is the backfilling being carried out in LAYERS and to the designated level?
3. Does the backfilled area receive enough WATERING, and has the recommended COMPACTION been carried out?
4. Have records of the BACKFILLED LEVEL been kept?
5. Has the DISPOSAL of extra dirt from the jobsite been carried out exactly as required?

Termite prevention

1. Is the anti-termite treatment for the area's earthworks COMPLETE?
2. Has the area been cleaned and any loose soil been removed?
3. Has the prescribed CHANNELING or RODING, as applicable, been completed?
4. Is the chemical being used according to the guidelines?
5. Is the chemical emulsion's CONCENTRATION acceptable?
6. Is the spraying equipment, including the pumps and more, in good working order?
7. Verify that the chemical emulsion's RATE OF APPLICATION is accurate.
8. Verify that chemical emulsion is applied consistently.

PCC

1. Have the previous PPC-related actions in the region been finished?
2. Verify the form dimensions to see if they are suitable.
3. Verify that the MIX PROPORTION is as stated.
4. Have the placement and compacting been carried out exactly as required?
5. Verify that the FINISHED LEVEL is what is stated?
6. Does the SURFACE FINISH meet your standards?
7. Verify that the CURING was completed appropriately.

Earlier than Concrete

1. Is the CONCRETED area clean enough for your tastes?
2. Is the FORMULAS & REINFORCEMENT in accordance with the structural design?
3. Have all previous tasks, such as mending inserts, embedments, and service conduits, been completed?
4. Is the assembly's stiffness and SUPPORT for forms acceptable?
5. Verify that PLATFORMS & WALKWAYS are provided in a proper manner.
6. Verify whether CONCRETE AIDS are available and in good functioning order.
7. Has the CONCRETING GROUP been informed of and made aware of the sequence?
8. Verify CONCRETE & FINISHING GROUP's preparedness.

During Concreting

1. Is the concrete being put being poured in the correct SLUMP?
2 Is it certain that concrete will flow continuously?
3. Verify whether the concrete's POURING HEIGHT is appropriate.
4. Does the concrete fit snugly against all the surfaces with the PROPER VIBRATION? reinforcing and embedding?
5. Are the different layers of CONCRETE BLEND being poured?
6. Verify that the labourers are using plant and machinery properly.
7. Verify that a "NITIAL SETTING time of cement" is being used when pouring the concrete.
8. Where necessary, check to see if CONSTRUCTION JOINTS are provided.
9. Is the exposed concrete surface for planar constructions LEVELLED & FINISHED?
10. Enjoys pavement and slabs

Concreting after

1. Verify that the appropriate CURING ARRANGEMENTS are in place.
2. Is sufficient CURING being provided for the allotted time?
3. Look for embeddings and inserts FLAT EXPOSURE that is parallel to the concrete surface.
4. Verify that the location of service conduits and fittings is clearly marked everywhere applicable.
5. Are surface flaws on exposed concrete receiving CORRECTIVE ACTIONS?
6. Verify that FORMS were properly removed and cleaned.

Bricklaying Masonry

1. Brickmasonry, first Are bricks readily available to meet daily needs?
2. Has the work area been CLEANED of any loose mortar, concrete, or other materials day by day?
3. Is the masonry's ALIGNMENT & LOCATION as specified?
4. Is scaffolding suitable in terms of SUITABILITY & SAFETY?
5. Before using BRICKS, check to see if it has been wet.
6. Check to see that the MORTAR MIX PROPORTION & JOINT THICKNESS are as described in step six.
7. Is the FROGS of the bricks being laid up?
8. Are the dimensions, level, and right angles exactly as stated?
9. Verify the appropriate BOND between the old and new masonry.
10. Is the spacing between vertical joints guaranteed?
11. Verify the sizes of the door and window apertures according to the drawings.
12. Examine the joints for CLEANING and RAKING.

Stone Masonry Size

1. Are SIZE STONES AVAILABLE in accordance with everyday needs?
2. Have the HEARTING, BOND, QUOIN, and FACE STONES been properly prepared with the hammer to achieve the desired shapes?
3. Is the masonry in the required location and alignment?
4. Is the WETTING of stones of different sizes guaranteed?
5. Is the stated MORTAR MIX PROPORTION used?
6. Is the staggered installation of VERTICAL JOINTS guaranteed?
7. Is the MORTAR JOINT THICKNESS as shown in the drawing?
8. Are the DIMENSIONS & LEVELS consistent with the drawings?
9. Does packing stone chips into masonry cracks and crevices effectively?
10. Are the joints being CLEANED and RAKED correctly?
11. Has the DEAD MORTAR CLEANING been finished?
12. Was the CURING performed correctly?

Masonry Blockwork

1. Are there enough bricks available to meet daily needs?
2. Has the work area been CLEANED of any debris, loose concrete, mortar, etc.?
3. Is the concrete block masonry aligned and situated as directed in the blueprints for a building?
4. Is the scaffolding SUITABILITY & SAFETY acceptable?
5. Is the concrete block moisture appropriate before installation?
6. Verify the thickness of the joints and mortar mix proportion.
7. Verify the WALL DIMENSIONS and BLOCK SIZE.
8. Are the dimensions, level, and right angles exactly as stated?
9. Inspect the new and old masonry for a BOND.
10. Is the staggered installation of VERTICAL JOINTS guaranteed?
11. Verify the size of any window and door openings.
12. Inspect joints for CLEANING & RAKING.
13. Is the CURING for old masonry sufficient?
14. Verify any removal

Reinforcement

1. The BAR BENDING SCHEDULE is ready, right?
2. Is the timetable for bar bending AVAILABLE for reference?
3. Are the CUTTING AND BENDING OF BARS COMPLIANT WITH THE (BBS) CODE?
4. Verify the bars' CLEANLINESS.
5. Does the FIXING OF BARS match the construction plans exactly?
6. Is the BINDING WIRE TYING OF REINFORCEMENT sufficient?
7. Verify where the service conduits are located.
8. Verify that the reinforcement is ready to be released for concreting.

Shuttering

1. Is the forms' CLEANLINESS acceptable?
2. Verify the scaffold and shutter assembly in relation to the shuttering plans?
3. Verify the existence and setup of the shuttering scheme.
4. Verify the safety and rigour of the assembled forms.
5. Verify the assembled forms' CONFORMANCE to the designs' DIMENSIONS, SHAPES, LINES, & GRADE?
6. Examine the shutter forms for SEALING OF JOINTS & HOLES.
7.Verify that shutter forms are READINESS for release to fix reinforcement.
8. Verify that shutter forms and scaffolds have been removed after the specified duration.
9. Inspect the scaffolds and shutters for cleaning (post-removal)
10. Verify that shutters and scaffolds are properly stacked (post-removal)

Plastering

1. Have the PRECEDING ACTIVITIES, such as the repair of service conduits and water and sewage lines, been completed correctly?
2. Examine RCC surfaces for HACKING & RAKING of Masonry Joints.
3. Examine the surfaces of masonry and RCC for CLEANING & WASHING.
4. Verify the scaffolding's suitability and safety.
5. Verify that exposed concrete surfaces free of mold-releasing agent stains have been cleaned.
6. Verify that the amount of cement and fine aggregate needed for plastering is present.
7. Verify the MORTAR's proper mixing.
8. Verify the Mortar Mix Ratio
9. Verify the addition of the required WATERPROOFING COMPOUND.
10. Before plastering, make sure the CEILING PLASTER is finished.
11. Did the plastering begin at the ceiling and descend to the floor?
12. Verify the thickness and quantity of applied coats of plaster.
13. Check for a level surface, straight angles, and plumb.
14. Is the Mortar being used throughout the cement's initial setting time?
15. Verify the item has STRAIGHT EDGES, SHARP CORNERS, and an SMOOTH FINISH.
16. Examine the architecture for details like grooves, bands, etc.
17. Verify the plaster's TRUE LEVEL SURFACE & SMOOTHNESS.
18. Verify the removal of any debris and dead mortar.
19. Examine the brickwork for SEALING OF OPENINGS before installing scaffolds.
20. Are the plastered walls labelled with the DATE OF PLASTERING?
21. Verify the correctness of the CURING ARRANGEMENTS?
22. Verify that curing has been carried out for the SPECIFIED DURATION.

STRUCTURAL & ARCHITECTURAL COMPLIANCE

Tiling

1. Before beginning the tiling project, make sure the base surface is CLEAN.
2. Has the construction area's loose mortar and debris been cleared away?
3. Were the aforementioned tasks-fixing doors, walls, false ceilings, etc. - completed correctly?
4. Verify that service conduits, junction boxes, etc. are provided as required.
5. Is there a reference copy of the APPROVED PATTERN OF LAYING?
6. Have SLOPES been decided upon for the tiled surface?
7. Before work begins, verify that TILES and other construction aids are available.
8. Verify if there are any TILES MASONS available.
9. Has the MORTAR MIXING PROPORTION been completed as required?
10. Verify the suitable THICKNESS OF MORTAR BED?
11. Look for LAYING PATTERNS
12. Inspect the thickness of tile joints.
13. Inspect the area around doors, sanitary fixtures, columns, partitions, etc. for TILES.
14. Look for cut tiles in the FINISHING of the edges.
15. Check to see if PIGMENT has been added to the cement, if necessary, and whether the tiling has been properly cured for the requisite amount of time.
16. Examine the tile surface for CLEANING.
17.Check for GRINDING & POLISHING
18.Final check for TRUE LEVEL SURFACE, PATTERN, SURFACE FINISHES, SLOPE, etc.
19. Have the tile joints between each tile been appropriately filled with coloured cement?

Painting

1. Is there a reference for the MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS for painting?
2. Verify whether approved shade details are still available.
3. Inspect the WALL & CEILING for cleanliness.
4. Verify that there is no dead mortar, debris, dust, algae, grease, etc. on the walls and ceiling.
5. Examine the plaster for FILLING OF PITS or UNDULATIONS.
6. Verify the scaffolding's suitability and safety.
7. Is the SCAFFOLDING set up far enough away from the surface to prevent painting?
8. Verify that there are enough plastic emulsion containers available.
9. Determine whether painting groups are available.
10. Verify that the PRIMER APPLICATION is completed as required.
11. Does the manufacturer's recommended proportion of paint and water match reality?
12. Examine the paint's consistency.
13. Look for uniform paint application.
14. Verify the NUMBER OF PAINT COATS COMPLETED.
15. Verify the TIME INTERVAL between coatings.
16. Inspect for correct stacking, cleaning, and scaffold REMOVAL.

Windows and Doors

1. Verify that the door frame is plumb in relation to the masonry opening.
2. Verify the door's level in relation to the masonry level.
3. Verify whether window frames are screwed to the walls with plaster.
4. Verify JAMB and reveal dimensions
5. Last-minute inspection of paint, surface finishes, and glazing
6. Prior to delivery, make sure the aluminium door has been cleaned and the protective coating has been removed.

Frame Configuration

1. Verify the structure's or the frame arrangement's design.
2. Verify that the framework or frame is set up according to the specifications and that it is aesthetically pleasing.

Design Conditions

1. Verify that the design of structural elements is based on the loads and created with economy and elegance in mind to ensure a safe, functional, and long-lasting structure.

IS Coding

1. Verify the structural components' compliance with the applicable Indian Standard Codes.

Structural Knowledge

1. When developing the framed structure, ensure that the structural detailing is carried out expertly by using the most recent architectural software and paying close attention to safety.

Building Reports

1. Check if the structure is designed based on the soil test reports, to ensures the stability of the structure along with its longevity.

BUILDING & PLUMBING

Electrical

1. Is the FFL supplied by the PROJECT TEAM accurate and verified?
2. Is the BUTTON MARK LEVEL on the wall that will be plastered accurate?
3. Were the electrical BOXES fixed in accordance with the button mark?
4. Are there just one level's worth of FIXED BOXES?
5. Verify the correctness of the SPACING between the adjacent BOXES.
6. Do you have the necessary TOOLS for chipping?
7. Was the corner of the chipped area chipped at the RIGHT ANGLE?
8. Were the CONDUITS placed inside the box?
9. Has the CORRECT SIZE BOX been fixed?
10. Verify that any areas where chasing or chipping has been done have been properly cured.
11. Has CONCRETE/CEMENT MORTAR been used to fill the chasing/chipping areas?

Plumbing

1. Are the most recent illustrations for the activity accessible?
2. Do you have access to all the NEEDED TOOLS?
3. Has the required CIVIL EXECUTION TEAM CLEARED the way for the plumbing work to begin?
4. Has the plumbing CUTOUT been provided in accordance with the authorised drawings?
5. Has the plastering and waterproofing of the block work been finished?
6. Has the INTERNAL PLUMBING LINE MARKING on the walls been correctly applied in accordance with the metre marking?
7. Has Teflon tape been applied appropriately to the THREADED JOINTS?
8. Was the CONCRETE PACKING carried out correctly wherever necessary?
9. Were the OUTLET LEVELS properly levelled with a spirit level?
10. Verify that the plumbing fixtures' heights are accurate.
11. Has the concrete been finished with the PROPER CURING?
12. Verify that the sewage and wastewater pipes are maintained with the PROPER SLOPE as required.
13. Have the SHAFTS for toilets and the anchor bolt-fixed clamps for securing pipes been installed away from the bore packing area?
14. Is the PREDICTED PROPER SLOPE being upheld for the same as shown in the drawings?
15. Inspect the ground level or basement for the SOIL LINES connection to the inspection chambers.
16. Verify if the waste water lines are attached to the gully traps in the basement or on the ground floor before being connected to the inspection chambers.
17. To minimise the choke up issue, verify that all TRAPS are sealed with a gunny bag and a layer of PLASTER OF PARIS on top.
18. Verify that the project is finished according to the structural design, floor plan, and elevation.
